Karen has completed the certificate training program in massage therapy at Oakland Community College (OCC). She has successfully completed the National Certification Examination for Therapeutic Massage through the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork and is an active member of Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals (ABMP). She continues her education today by taking continuing education credit courses. During her internship through OCC, she worked at North Oakland Medical Center, physical therapy department.
Most recently, Karen has received certification in Cold Laser Therapy. She has successfully completed and received certification as a Cold Laser Technician from Laser Concepts of Nevada, Inc. She has also received certification in Acu-Point Laser Therapy for Smoking Cessation and Weight Management from True Synergy as well as receiving Low Level Laser and Bioelectromagnetic therapies certification from Healing Light Seminars.
